Import your Tradedoubler transactions

Import a Tradedoubler transactions export into AffCheck, and the validation period on the Grow plans: 15, 30 or 60 days per service order.

By The AffCheck team · Updated

Tradedoubler calls a decline "reclassifying a transaction as invalid", using pre-defined reasons, and it has to happen inside the transaction validation period in your service order. AffCheck reads your transactions export and tells you which rows are worth reclassifying.

The platform steps are not verified

Tradedoubler's help portal was not reachable, so the export path and the batch file layout below could not be read in Tradedoubler's own documentation. The validation periods and the batch-processing feature come from published pricing and terms pages and are verified. Send us a redacted export and we will document the rest.

Export your transactions

Export the transactions report for the period you want to check, as CSV, from your Tradedoubler advertiser account. We cannot give you the exact menu path yet.

Import it

Drop the file on the network zone of the Imports screen and pick Tradedoubler if it is not detected. The preset expects a transaction id, an order number, an order value, a commission, a status, a transaction time and a publisher (affiliate) id. Where your headings differ, AffCheck asks once which column is which and remembers the layout.

The validation period

Tradedoubler defines it as "the time allowed to cancel or adjust a transaction before it automatically becomes payable to your publishers", and its self-serve Grow plans list 15 days on Start and 30 days on Walk and Run, with the plan table showing 15, 30 and 60 days.1 On a standard contract the number is whatever the Service Order says.

Because there is no single published default that fits every contract, AffCheck leaves Tradedoubler rows undated until you enter your own period on the Deadlines screen.

Batch processing

The Grow plans include batch transaction processing: "Ability to process multiple transactions at once, using a CSV file."1 The column layout of that file is not published, so build it from the template in your own account rather than from anything here.

If you run the Tradedoubler Shopify app

The Tradedoubler listing describes "automatic validation functionality to have your orders statuses sync daily with Tradedoubler platform".2 If you rely on that, AffCheck's value on Tradedoubler is mostly what one network cannot see: the same order claimed on a second network, and codes used by a publisher they were not given to.
