R04: Claimed twiceDuplicate claims

Pay once per order, not per network.

When Awin and CJ both report the same Shopify order, AffCheck groups the duplicate claims so you keep one and decline the rest.

Order #10511 claimed on Awin and CJ: the Awin claim is kept, the CJ claim is declined as already credited to another channel. Sample data.

Nº 01The problem

Two networks, one order, two invoices

Networks de-duplicate within their own platform, not across each other. Adding a second network doubles the spreadsheet work, and nobody reconciles the Shopify order that both of them claim.

Nº 02How it works

How duplicate claims works

  1. Step 1Import each networkAwin, CJ, Rakuten Advertising, impact.com or any CSV. Each keeps its own saved mapping.
  2. Step 2See overlaps by orderOrders claimed more than once are grouped, with the publisher, date and commission for each claim.
  3. Step 3Decide which claim standsKeep one claim per your de-duplication policy and decline the rest with a ready reason.

What you get

Across every network
One queue for all your programs, grouped by the Shopify order that was actually placed.
A reason publishers accept
“Sale credited to another channel or partner” is a recognised decline reason under network terms.
The same policy every cycle
Decisions follow your rule, not whoever does the spreadsheet that month.

Questions

Which claim does AffCheck keep?

None on its own. It shows every claim for the order side by side; you choose, or set a policy it suggests from.

Can it compare with paid ads or email clicks?

Not yet. Comparing affiliate claims with Google Ads, Meta or email clicks needs a Shopify Web Pixel, planned for a later version.

What is a de-duplication policy?

A rule in your programme terms that says which claim is paid when more than one publisher or network claims the same sale, for example the last click. Networks apply it within their own platform; across networks you have to apply it yourself.
