Store settings: name, currency, timezone, tags

Store settings holds everything about one store: what it is called, what its money is measured in, which tags mean "not a real sale", and the account numbers your network files carry. It is also where you take your data out or delete the store.

What is not here on purpose: who is on the team and what you pay. Those belong to the workspace rather than to a store, and they live on Team and Billing.

Name and Shopify domain

The store name is what you call it — it appears in the sidebar, in the Monday email and at the top of every screen. Customers never see it.

The Shopify domain is optional and is used for one thing: stopping two workspaces from checking the same shop by accident. If it is already connected somewhere else, saving says so.

Currency

Your Shopify payout currency. It is what a figure is labelled with when nothing else says — a network file that names its own currency always wins, which is why a GBP store can show a EUR line on the same screen.

Changing it does not convert anything, and nothing already imported moves. Amounts keep the currency the file they came from gave them. AffCheck never converts between currencies and never adds two together: a total is always one line per currency.

Timezone

The timezone decides what "today" means. Three things read it:

• Deadlines. "In 4 days" is counted from your own calendar, not from UTC. The auto-approval date itself is the network's own UTC day and does not move.
• The Monday email. It is sent when your clock reaches Monday 08:00.
• The recovered ledger. A file you mark as uploaded counts in the month it is in for you — 30 September 23:00 UTC is already October in Auckland.

Changing the timezone applies from the moment you save it. Months already recorded keep the month they were written with; the figure for a past month does not shift under you.

Test order tags

Some orders were never sales: your own test orders, staff purchases, a wholesale row someone put through the shop. AffCheck treats an order carrying one of these tags as a test, and a commission claimed on it is flagged as TEST_ORDER.

The standard tags are test and staff, plus Shopify's own test-payment flag, which is always read whatever you set here. If you tag staff orders something else — internal, colleague, wholesale — put your own list in, separated by commas. Leaving the box empty puts the standard tags back.

Saving new tags re-checks every transaction in the store straight away, so the review queue moves without a re-import.

CJ account numbers

A CJ correction file carries two numbers in its header: your advertiser account number (CID) and the correction-data subscription id (SUBID) that CJ Support sets up for you. We ask for them the first time you build a CJ file, and this is where you change them afterwards.

They are digits only. A file already built keeps the numbers it was built with — a re-download is byte for byte what you downloaded the first time, even if you change them here later.

Three downloads, none of them stored anywhere:

• Everything, as JSON — your account, every workspace you belong to and every table we hold for their stores, plus how long each kind of data is kept, so the file answers "how long do you keep this?" itself.
• This store's queue, as CSV — one line per flagged transaction with its rule, its evidence and what it is worth. The same shape the free browser tool produces.
• This store's activity, as CSV — who decided what, and when. The same rows and sentences the activity log shows.

You do not have to be leaving to take a copy, and you do not have to ask us.

Delete this store

Deleting a store deletes its orders, refunds, transactions, flags, your decisions, every import and export record and its activity log. It happens immediately, in one database transaction, and nothing is marked deleted and kept. There is no undo and we cannot get it back for you.

You type the word delete to confirm.
